The river that used to water the vegetable fields has dried up, leaving nothing but stones. But the vegetables in the garden don't give up: they pull up their roots and set off in procession in search of water. They climb hills, cross stony fields, avoid a hungry rabbit; finally, they hear the voice of water and happily run to meet it... But it's not the water that speaks, it's the spirit of the water that gives all living things their water. Water is essential to our existence, and everything we eat needs water.
This book can help raise children's awareness of these issues, which is essential if we, as humanity, are to make the changes needed to solve the environmental crisis. The path mapped out by the spirit of water is ultimately the one that each of us must seek in our own hearts.
